gimp-gutenprint software package provides print plugin for the GIMP, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gimp-gutenprint
gimp-gutenprint is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gimp-gutenprint package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gimp-gutenprint *
You will get with gimp-gutenprint package name, version, architecture and description in a table
